I can't wait to work with you! What should you expect now?

I'm here to help you
First, thank you! I'm so glad you've trusted me to capture the sweetest memories for you. This page is here to help guide you with my experience on what my recommendations are to help make sure your session goes smoothly!
No clue what to wear or your location? Here's some of my personal favorite tips:
Color Scheme
There are so many ways you can go with this. I recommend going with the season; for fall oranges, reds, yellows and blacks are always popular. Winter I see a lot of blacks, whites and reds. Springs are pinks, light blues & greens. What I don't recommend are a huge clash of patterns. My preference, solids are always safe. Or consider breaking it up where out of a family of 4, two have solids and two wear patterns. Most importantly, be comfortable in your skin.
Hair & Makeup
Unless you're going for a dramatic look, keep the makeup natural as possible. Super bright eyeshadow, thick foundation doesn't look great. There are some things that DO look fantastic though, in my opinion; liked curled hair, solid painted nails, fake eyelashes and a natural looking lipstick. I hope you feel like the most glamorous version of yourself!
Guy Advice
Guys, you are easy and get to keep it simple. Iron your shirt and pants if they need it. Get your hair trimmed about a week before your session. Make sure to take your keys & phones out of your pockets before you show up. Wear comfy clothes, but look nice. We are from the South, you can't go wrong with jeans, a nice button up and boots. If that's not your style wear what suits you!
Location Ideas
One of the first things I'll ask is where would you like to shoot? I recommend, if possible, shooting somewhere that's meaningful to you. Not only are you comfortable in your location but your pictures won't look like everyone else's. Make this session about you and whoever you are with. If you guys like the outdoors, let's find us a gorgeous setting. If you want an urban look then send me what you want. I'm here to help!
Family Sessions
Let's be real, I'm sure you've heard some horror family picture stories. I hope to help make it easier! I'll always start you off with the "money" group shot. Whether you're with older kids or littles, it's easier to get this one out of the way. Please don't try and force the kids to smile, it'll almost never work. You know your kids better than me, if you want to take them out for ice cream after go for it! I like to have fun and play games, it makes it more relaxing and fun!
